Third Man RecordsJack White has just announced that Alabama Shakes singer Brittany Howard is the latest artist to participate in his Third Man Records labels' Blue Series releases.

On March 12, White will release a 7” vinyl single which features covers of two songs performed by Howard and Ruby Amanfu, a member of White’s all-female backing band, the Peacocks. The first track is a cover of Rodriguez’s “I Wonder,” which was featured in the Oscar-winning documentary Searching for Sugar Man.  The second track is the duo’s version of Memphis Minnie’s "When My Man Comes Home," which is currently streaming in its entirety at ThirdManRecords.com.

Previous installments of Third Man Records' Blue Series have featured an eclectic list of celebrities, including Beck, Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes, talk-show host Stephen Colbert, actor John C. Reilly and hip-hop duo Insane Clown Posse.
